one thing i hate is companies getting users to do work for them for free, and then "justify" it by saying "oh, you're just joining the community".

riddle me this google, what "community" am i joining by recording myself saying words like this

the whole thing is stupid, and i really wish companies stopped doing it. just pay your employees gosh darn it!

also, this does NOT apply to organizations (Wikipedia, OpenStreetMap) because they aren't trying to make as much money off of people as possible.
